Dr. Daihana Byrd, LCSW-C

Dr. Daihana Byrd, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and board-approved supervisor with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Since 2007, she has worked across community-based settings, psychiatric hospitals, and child welfare, providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her clinical practice is grounded in trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches, with specialized experience supporting youth and families impacted by complex trauma.

Drawing from her Hispanic heritage, Dr. Byrd brings cultural understanding and responsiveness to her work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. She is bilingual and provides services in both English and Spanish, helping Spanish-speaking and Latinx clients access care in the language in which they feel most comfortable expressing themselves.

As a clinical supervisor, Dr. Byrd provides supervision and professional development to social workers, supporting the delivery of ethical, effective, and trauma-informed services. She is committed to strengthening clinical practice, fostering professional growth, and promoting the well-being of mental health professionals.

Dr. Byrd holds a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Freed-Hardeman University, a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
